“Hello, I’m Johnny Cash…”

Iconic words, delivered by a true Country Music icon…

Folks, we’re dedicating this week’s show to the one-and-only “Man In Black.”

Now, that’s a tricky proposition given the breadth and depth of Cash’s career.  After all, he’s an artist who’s not only revered in Country Music circles, but has earned almost universal respect among music fans of all stripes.

We’ve tried to cover all the phases of Cash’s career.  We’ll play some songs from his days on Sun Records, up through his wild days in the sixties and the release of the classic Live at Folsom Prison.

We’ll touch on his duets from the seventies with his wife, June Carter and we’re even going up through the eighties to his work with the supergroup, The Highwaymen (composed of Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson).

So, if you’re a fan of Johnny Cash (who isn’t?), then tune on in for this week’s Country Music Greats Radio Show…and we’ll see you on the radio!
